Hosting and delivery

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. To send pages and protect the service, Cloudflare receives connection and request information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser and operating-system information, and referring page where sent. The publisher relies on legitimate interests in reliable delivery and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare operates an international network, so data may be processed outside your country. Its privacy policy explains its handling, retention and international transfers.

Audience and partner measurement

Google Analytics 4 and GetYourGuide partner tracking load directly, without a cookie or consent banner. Measurement ID: G-6WS0K3GT5H. The publisher relies on legitimate interests in understanding use of the guide and its booking links (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Analytics 4 receives page addresses, browser and device information, approximate location and interactions, including labeled booking-link clicks. It can store _ga and _ga_* cookies to recognize a browser. Each script loads once asynchronously. This site does not enable Google signals or add Google Ads or remarketing tags. Cookie lifetimes and analytics retention follow Google’s and the publisher’s account settings.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or object by contacting contact@higashiizu.com. Google may process data outside your country, including the United States; its notices explain the transfer arrangements that apply.

GetYourGuide partner tracking receives visit and booking-link interaction information and may use cookies to associate referrals with partner ZLRVAOO. Its privacy policy describes retention, cookies, transfers and your choices. Browser cookie controls can limit this tracking; you can also object by contacting contact@higashiizu.com. GetYourGuide handles referral attribution under its partner terms.

Booking links

Labeled Agoda and GetYourGuide links contain public referral identifiers: Agoda cid=1964157 and GetYourGuide partner_id=ZLRVAOO. Following a link sends its address and referral identifier to the provider, alongside connection and browser data. The site’s referrer policy limits cross-site referrers to the site origin; booking buttons also use noreferrer. The publisher’s interest is to fund the guide through referrals (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providers handle their own cookies, bookings and any account or payment details you give them. Their services may process data internationally; their notices describe retention, transfer arrangements and privacy choices: Agoda privacy and GetYourGuide privacy. See also the affiliate disclosure.

OpenFreeMap maps

Pages with a map load OpenFreeMap styles, tiles and fonts automatically when the map comes into view, without a permission step. Loading starts shortly before the map enters the screen so it can be ready as you scroll. OpenFreeMap receives your IP address, browser and connection information, request time, the requested map area and any referrer sent by the browser. The publisher relies on its legitimate interest in showing geographic context (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

There is no map preference, map-permission cookie or stored map choice. You can prevent requests by blocking OpenFreeMap in your browser, though the interactive map will then be unavailable; the linked place list remains usable. See OpenFreeMap privacy for the service’s data practices.

Contact and other features

This site has no accounts, contact forms, newsletter sign-ups or comments. If you email the publisher, your address and message are used to handle the inquiry under the publisher’s legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Please include only information needed for your request.

Your rights and choices

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including audience measurement. Contact contact@higashiizu.com and identify the request; you do not need an account on this site.

You may complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly in your place of habitual residence, work or the alleged infringement. The European Data Protection Board’s authority directory lists European authorities. Rights and remedies elsewhere depend on applicable law. Browser controls can block or delete cookies; provider-specific choices are described in the linked notices.
